Very easy to use. Instructions were very clear on the method to pump to get good flow from this manual pump. Never had any problems with it. I could screw on a medela bottle to the bottle attachment, I did not always need to have the evenflo bottle that it came with. I would recommend this to any mom as an alternate use when you don't have ability to use your electric pump. It was also much quicker to use this in the car or while traveling instead of setting up battery pack to large pump with hoses, etc. After 2 weeks. Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2015 Worked well for about a week. After 2 weeks I am now having to order a different manual pump. The o ring kept sticking so it could not pump smoothly and thr handle kept falling off. Please try again later. From the United StatesVery easy to use. IMHO. 4.0 out of 5 stars They are really very useful because they are small enough to throw in a diaper bag, yet powerful enough to pump when you are away from an electric breast pump. In several situations, including on an airplane and during a long work day, they have really been a lifesaver when you need to drain breastmilk. This convenience comes with a few problems, in this order: 1) The suction on the pump is pretty harsh on your anatomy. Until you get used to the pressure, it's downright painful. Best advice I can give is not to squeeze the handle all the way. Squeeze it part way only until you get to the right amount of suction for yourself. 2) Like most pumps, it's a PITA to clean. You have to open up the top and take out this gasket, and there's a little cup shaped apparatus on the bottom of the pump that you also have to remove and get into. The silicone piece around the horn (which helps to make it a little softer) is hard to get out, but then once you try to put it back on it has a tendency to want to pop off. 3) There's no way to seal the bottle once you are finished pumping. Therefore, if you accidentally tip the bottle over, the milk will spill out. I find it's best to just bring a breastmilk storage bag at all times and empty the breastmilk out right away. 4) Over time, the little elastic that keeps the pump handle going will get slack.http://gapoom.com/upload/fckeditor/edinburgh-brand-manual.xml

They include an extra one in the package, but seriously by the time the first one wears out---being a new mom, you have already lost that little elastic thingy in some drawer with all the other little doodads that you've put away to avoid your little one chewing on then, and you won't be able to find it. But, of course this is all in the context.A portable pump, very handy in some situations, but not a perfect product. Please try again later. Please try again later. Debra P 5.0 out of 5 stars Personally, I found manual pumping to be faster and as a working Mom we need all the time we can get back. So I know longer use the electric pump. When I firstr went looking into Manual Pumps I struggled between the Lansinoh and Medela. Mainly bc these are two well known names in BPs and assumed like many if its expensive it must be good. I opted for the Lansinoh which in all honestly does the job. I've had the Lansinoh for about 3 months and it just stopped working well. It takes me about 30-40 mins to pump 5 ounces. The suction isn't what it once was and I can only guess is maybe there is a microscopic hole that is lessening the pressure. I recieved it yesterday and to my surprise I pumped 6 oz COMFORTABLY (you know what i mean) in 13 mins. I pulled more milk from each than I have in weeks with the Lansinoh. At first, i t hought it was a cheap version of BP. The pumps are very shallow so I didn't think it was going to work but to my surprise its the best pump I've had. Please try again later. When it got to be a month after I got it I noticed one time I went to use it and literally no suction so I thought maybe I needed to clean and sanitize everything and replace the membranes. It worked for 2 more days then went completely out again, ABSOLUTELY NO SUCTION WHAT SO EVER!!!! I realized that it was the pump itself that was going out. I decided to Google the problem I was having and started reading reviews which I wish I would have done before I opened it because almost every review I've read everyone's had the same problem. I will never recommend this pump to anyone. I'm very disappointed in how quickly it messed up!!! I bought the electric double pump and it sucks nothing. The suction is so low I get more milk pressing on my breast. I don't know how these people are still making pumps. Please don't waste your money or time with this pump. Thank you, you have successfully subscribed to our newsletter. Enjoy reading our tips and recommendations. Tsmmy of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania It's a manual. I can't afford a electric one at this time. I have to say it gets the job done, but I feel it takes too long compared to the electric one. I am very disappointed with the electric model and how they have dealt with the issue. The pump worked well the first maybe three times I used. Once a day every other day. So I called the company to get replacements as it was still under their warranty. The first replacement motors they sent did NOT work either.

When I called today and explained the issue the lady had me do the same thing the first person did, but to all four pumps. Saying that the replacements are brand new not refurbished and should work. She then had the nerve to argue with me about the difference between low suction and no suction. Somehow she did not understand that they had low suction to begin with and one set now has no suction while the other has very little from time to time. Not that hard to understand. Her only option was to send out a second replacement set that can't even be done until FedEx picks up the first set. Consequently I have been forced to introduce formula for the time being and we are having great difficulties getting the little one to keep it down. This product sucks and they should give refunds to everyone who bought their crappy product. I will never purchase another Evenflo product of any kind! The tubing adapter broke and the only place that sells them is the manufacturer in Ohio. I would get it in time it would take two weeks. Waste of money! Wish I would have just got the more expensive one and have parts available at local stores! I chose Evenflo due to name recognition. The pump worked one time. She was not able to get any suction after that. It was fully charged and powered, there is simply no suction. That I wasted so much money in this makes me sick to my stomach and I want to cry. No one should buy this and Evenflo should send refunds to everyone that has. From now on I will purchase store brand, no-name before I spend another penny on any Evenflo product. When it arrived I was excited to get it since I had to go back to work. So anyways I opened the box and right away I want to try it out. It took forever. I would say an hour just to get not even an ounce of milk in the bottle. I wanted to return this product but once you open the box and break the seal it cannot be returned.

So now I don't have a reliable breast pump for me to go back to work and school and I don't agree with formula. How do they want us to go to work if the stupid breast pump doesn't work and it takes a drop at a time. I'm really angry at this product. I don't recommend it at all. Evenflo needs to try their products before they sell it on the market and lying about how great their product is. I'm very very angry I got the Evenflo electric pump that is not what they advertise on the box. I don't like it one bit. Evenflo take your product back. At first I was embarrassed. Even though I had a stepdaughter. Afterwards I was fine with it. I pumped multiple times each day. I pumped all the time from day one until March 13 2015. I am pleased with my experience. I apologize to everyone else's experiences. After reading all the other reviews (which I wished I would have read before purchasing) I felt compelled to do the same because everyone else didn't work but for a week or a couple of months. It also didn't release all the milk. I don't know how long a breast pump is suppose to last but I expected this one to at least last until I weaned my child off breast milk. I haven't had such a bad experience with the machine other than spending money on something that doesn't work all that well. It worked horrible from the beginning. But it's even getting worse which I didn't think was possible. Not only is it loud (which I could deal with if it worked) it has barely any suction. If I was to make a bottle with this thing it would take hours. Not even exaggerating.Evenflo began as a bottle manufacturer in Ohio in 1920, inventing the first bottle nipple that could be secured in place with a cap. Who Should I Choose a Manual Pump.

Types of Manual Breast Pumps Choosing the Best Manual Breast Pump Best Manual Breast Pumps of 2020 How to Use a Manual Breast Pump Frequently Asked Questions The Bottom Line Is a Breast Pump Necessary. Not every woman needs a breast pump, but it’s a good idea for most women to have one on hand. Obviously, as a new mom, you’re going to want to spend as much time as possible with your baby, and you may have the luxury of being around whenever your baby needs to feed. But sometimes it isn’t always possible for you to be there at every feeding. The hustle and bustle of daily life will interfere with even the most organized of moms. I missed several feedings a day with my first child because of my busy work schedule. I worked in an office setting, not in my home, so I had to count on someone else to give my baby her meals. Without a breast pump, those meals would have been formula. Luckily, breast pumps make it possible for moms to give their babies the most nutritious food they get. If you’re a lucky mom who can be an on-call milk bar as and when your baby needs you, it’s possible to skip the breast pump. But if you plan on returning to work, or even if you plan to take a day to yourself once in a while, you’ll need to have a breast pump if manual expression is not right for you. There are many differences between manual and electric breast pumps. Moms who want to pump multiple times a day may want to consider one of the best electric breast pumps, but if you’re just looking to pump occasionally, like once a day or less, a manual pump is the way to go (1). Advantages of a Manual Pumps Price Manual pumps are much more inexpensive than electric pumps. There’s no electrical component, which drives down the price. If you aren’t going to use your pump often, there’s no need to spend the extra money on buying an electric pump when a cheaper option is available. Motherhood is expensive enough. Portability Manual pumps can go anywhere you do.https://climatechange-news.com/images/boy-scout-uniform-manual.pdf
